For robotic-assisted surgical system, it is essential to have robotic arms with flexibility and full-wristed dexterity. It also requires the jaws, graspers, etc, to have a high degree of freedom as well as a cost-effective manufacturing solution for the high volume production of such components for the system.
Utilizing innovative and creative MIM manufacturing processes, AMT delivers reliable and consistent quality components for the robotic-assisted surgical systems. Using the MIM manufacturing technology, AMT, not only delivers components at much lower costs as compared to machining, but also allows for these highly complex parts to be mass-produced in large volumes of over 200,000 pieces per month for use in single-use devices. To date, AMT had delivered more than 5 million parts for this application.
